Please Join Us
It's been 5 years since our wedding weekend, we thought it would be fun to do another get together with our friends and family. Our plan is to camp out for the weekend at the Platte River Campground and do a river float on Saturday. Please join us for all or any part of the weekend that you would like.
Camp OutJune 23 to 25, 2023.
We are staying at the Platte River Campground on Loop 4, lots 453 & 451. It appears that only non-electric campsites are left. Here is a link to the booking website for the national park.

If you aren't into camping, you might like to stay at an Up North rustic resort near by. Checkout Sleeping Bear Resort.
More Up North CampgroundsApparently Platte River Campground is filling up fast. Here is a list of other campgrounds. DH Day is cool. right on the big lake, but might be rustic (can't remember). Indigo seems like it might be fancier. That is about all I know, I can't vouch for the parks. Let me know where you end up so I can let others know. Some of these campgrounds are pretty far away from Platte River, but you could take a day trip over to hangout.

River FloatSaturday, June 24, 2023. 1pm Meet up / Start time
The Platte River is great for both Kayaks and SUP Boards. We would NOT recommend tubes (it takes forever). You can bring your own or get a rental from Riverside Canoes. The river float takes about 3 hours.
Beach Sunset & CampfireSaturday, June 24, 2023. Sun sets at 9:30pm
We are planning on enjoying a sunset and beach fire on Peterson Beach. There is a long dirt road across from Deadstream Rd. that leads to the beach just north of the Platte River Campground.
Open HouseSunday, June 25, 2023. 2pm
We invite you to stop by our new old farmhouse in the Village of Lake Ann on your way out of town. Our new address is 6522 Lake Street, Lake Ann, MI 49650.
