Plein Air Watercolor Postcard Painting
Paint your own Leelanau County postcards. Join artist Debra Lanning in Leland, Michigan, for a unique Plein Air experience. Plein Air is the act of painting in the open air. We will be soaking up Leelanau County's beauty while making art in the great outdoors. Debra will provide the art supplies required for this experience. You just need to show up with your favorite beach blanket, chair and/or umbrella. Whatever will make you comfortable during this 3-hour art adventure.
The experience will start with an introductory lesson for the group, showing you some basic watercolor painting techniques. Once the lesson is complete, you will be free to explore the area to find your picturesque inspiration. Then settle in to try your hand at Plein Air Watercolor Painting.
